About Lette

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”Rumi.

  • I am a Somatic Psychotherapist and integrative therapist - Queer, LGBTQIA+, Neurodiverse and lived experience in a fundamentalist christian upbringing, multiple forms of trauma and assault.

My practice is grounded in my Tikanga Māori and European ancestry, lived experience, and a deep connection to ancestral healing traditions. As a queer LGBTIQA+ person raised within fundamentalism, I understand the complexities of identity, belonging, shame, survival, and reclaiming selfhood.

I bring a deeply survivor-informed perspective shaped by the lived experience of complex trauma, violence, neurodivergence, and recovery. My work is rooted in an understanding of how trauma lives within the body, nervous system, relationships, and sense of self.

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person, I understand the realities of overwhelm, burnout, masking, sensory sensitivity, and navigating a world that often misunderstands ADHD and Autism (AuDHD). My lived insight allows me to offer not only therapeutic support but genuine empathy, steadiness, and care.

Therapy with me moves at your pace. I blend modern therapeutic approaches with embodied and ancestral wisdom, integrating:

    • Somatic Psychotherapy & Polyvagal Theory

    • Nervous system regulation and body-based healing

    • Guided imagery and attachment-based work

    • Shadow work and trauma integration

    • Awareness of body-held energy and ancestral healing traditions

I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. My practice is a supportive for all awareness, of gender, sexual awareness, my therapy is open and welcoming for all folks always.

Based in Thornbury, Melbourne for inperson on Wednesdays and Fridays and online other days. Mon-Fri only. Sessions and available via Telehealth across Australia, I adapt sessions to support your sensory, cultural, spiritual, and communication needs.
