Trauma-Informed, Down-to-Earth,

Body-Based Approach to Healing

Kia Ora, I’m Lette.

I am a Somatic Psychotherapist offering a culturally aware and trauma-informed space for healing. My practice is grounded in my own history of Māori, Polynesian, and European ancestry, my lived experience as a queer LGBTIQA+ person, and a deep connection to ancestral healing practices.

My Lived Experience is My Guide. I bring a trauma-informed perspective to everything I do, shaped by my own history of overcoming complex trauma. I know what it means to survive difficult circumstances, and that resilience guides how I hold space for my clients.

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person, I understand the realities of overwhelm, burnout, masking, and the complexity of navigating culture and identity. This lived insight allows me to offer not just therapy, but genuine empathy, clarity, and steady support.

How We Work Together Therapy with me moves at your pace. I blend modern science with ancient wisdom, incorporating:

  • Somatic Psychotherapy & Polyvagal Theory (Nervous system support)

  • Hypnotherapy & Guided Imagery

  • Attachment-based & Shadow Work

  • Awareness of body-held energy & Ancestral healing traditions

Who I Support I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities. My practice is a haven for those navigating ADHD, Autism (AuDHD), anxiety, trauma, gender exploration, and dissociation.

Based in Melbourne (Thornbury) for in-person sessions and available via Telehealth across Australia, I adapt every session to your sensory, cultural, and communication needs.

“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

Meet Our Practice Manager and Owner – First Nations Aboriginal Owner

Chantal (She/Her) is a proud Aboriginal woman from Darug & Gamilaraay countries.

“Gamilaraay country” refers to the traditional lands of the Gamilaraay (also spelt Kamilaroi or Gomeroi) Aboriginal people in central northern New South Wales and southern Queensland, Australia. The traditional lands cover an expansive area of approximately 75,000 square kilometres (29,000 square miles).

As a First Nations Aboriginal Indigenous Co-owner of the practice.

She is also the Practice Manager and bookkeeper, ensuring the smooth running of operations while upholding our commitment to cultural respect, inclusivity, and community-driven care.

Her lived experience of the intergenerational impacts of colonisation shapes our approach, helping us provide therapeutic services that honour cultural history and personal identity.

Chantal’s dedication to client care reinforces our promise:

We hold our promise and remain true to our ancestors, care for ourselves and our community.”

Together, we maintain a practice where clients feel supported, safe, and understood.
