About Us: Inclusive Somatic Psychotherapy in Melbourne & Online
Meet Lette Jewell – Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist
Kia ora, I’m Lette Jewell (She/They/Them) — a registered psychotherapist, counsellor, and hypnotherapist with over a decade of therapeutic experience.
As a Takatāpui (Two-Spirited) therapist with ancestral ties to my Iwi’s Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Maniapoto, and Te Arawa my Kaumatua ( Maternal and Grandfather - Bay of Plenty, Tauranga), my work is guided by the values and wisdom of my Māori heritage. I integrate Rongoā Māori ( passed on from Whanau), somatic practices, and Indigenous worldviews to support healing that honours culture, identity, and lived experience.
My practice is also shaped by my own journey as a late-diagnosed neurodiverse person, giving me deep empathy for the complexities of identity, belonging, and self-understanding. I walk alongside clients with compassion and awareness, creating space for authentic healing and growth.
Over the past decade, I’ve supported individuals and groups through trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions, helping them reconnect with resilience, meaning, and self-trust.
Our Approach to Therapy – Somatic & Polyvagal-Informed Counselling
Our approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is not about “fixing” — it’s about collaboration, curiosity, and connection.
Collaborative: We work together as partners in your healing journey.
Safe & Inclusive: Your culture, identity, and lived experience are central to our work.
Body–Mind Connection: We explore how emotions and experiences are held in the body, using somatic and polyvagal-informed approaches to support regulation and awareness.
Our Practice Values
Our work is grounded in three guiding values: Safety in Gentleness, Identity, and Inclusion.
These values shape every aspect of how we hold space, connect, and walk alongside you in your healing journey.
Safety in Gentleness
Healing happens in safety — where gentleness, presence, and care create room for your story to unfold.
We honour each client’s pace and boundaries, fostering a sense of trust and calm through somatic awareness, empathy, and cultural respect.
Identity
Your identity and lived experience are sacred.
We recognise that culture, spirituality, neurodiversity, sexuality, and gender are integral to who you are — not things to be “fixed” or “managed.”
Therapy here is a space to explore and affirm your authentic self with dignity and curiosity.
Inclusion
We celebrate the richness of diversity and create an environment that welcomes everyone.
Our practice is Queer-affirming, neurodiverse-aware, gender-diverse, and Indigenous Māori and Aboriginal-owned and operated.
We are committed to cultural responsiveness and allyship that uplifts LGBTIQA+, neurodiverse, and Indigenous communities.
Our Commitment
To create safe, affirming spaces where all people feel seen, respected, and supported.
To centre cultural identity and lived experience as essential to healing.
To support each person in developing resilience, self-awareness, and emotional regulation.
You are welcome here — exactly as you are.
Our therapy space is gentle, grounded, and inclusive, a place where healing is guided by connection, compassion, and authenticity.

We support all peoples, with particular care for those from Indigenous backgrounds and neurodiverse communities, through approaches that honour body, mind, and wairua (spirit).
Meet Our Practice Manager and Owner – First Nations Aboriginal Owner
Chantal (She/Her) is a proud Aboriginal Darug & Kamilaroi woman and co-owner of the practice.
As our Practice Manager, she ensures the smooth running of operations while upholding our commitment to cultural respect, inclusivity, and community-driven care.
Her lived experience of the intergenerational impacts of colonisation shapes our approach, helping us provide therapeutic services that honour cultural history and personal identity.
Chantal’s dedication to client care reinforces our promise:
