About Connected Minds Therapies

Connected Minds Therapies is run by Lette Jewell, a sole trader, offering counselling services from Melbourne, Victoria. We provide online and face-to-face counselling for individuals and couples. Fees apply and are listed on our website for clients in Australia and New Zealand. Our support is based on the information you share with us. While we aim to help with your concerns, you decide how useful this is for you. Our services do not replace advice from your own health professionals. Confidentiality

Your personal information is kept confidential. We won't share your information with any other organisation without your express permission, except where required by law. This may apply where we have a duty of care — for example, where you are at serious risk of harming yourself, harming someone else, or there is a child protection concern. Respectful Conduct Policy

To maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment, all clients — current and prospective — are expected to engage with the counsellor and any practice staff respectfully and appropriately at all times. Please note: the following behaviours will not be tolerated under any circumstances: Verbal abuse, including yelling, swearing, or aggressive language Sexualised language, gestures, or behaviour of any kind Threats, intimidation, or harassment (including discriminatory or defamatory remarks) Physical aggression, violence, or any behaviour that may cause harm or fear Repeated disrespect of boundaries or refusal to engage appropriately in the therapeutic process Any actions that compromise the safety or wellbeing of the counsellor, staff, or other clients Any client who engages in such behaviour will be immediately discharged from the counselling service and referred to a more suitable psychiatric or clinical care setting. This policy exists to protect the safety, integrity, and therapeutic effectiveness of the practice for everyone involved.

Psychotherapy & Counselling Session Fees

Initial Consultation — 60 minutes

Ongoing Sessions — 45–50 minutes

If a session runs longer than these times, the charged rate will be averaged over the standard session duration. This helps ensure time remains available for all clients. A deposit [insert amount] is required to secure your session. The remaining balance is payable at the end of the session, or after the session once the invoice is sent. Payments are accepted via credit card or online debit card.

📌 Cancellation Policy

We understand that unexpected situations can happen. However, as a small practice with a large client waitlist, late cancellations prevent other clients from accessing appointments. We send several appointment reminders, including one before your appointment, to help you avoid late cancellation fees. We have a strict 4-day (96-hour) cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 96 hours of your appointment — including no-shows — will incur the full session fee. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please use this link: Cancel or reschedule an appointment For any questions, please reach out by text, message, or call on 0452 064 983, or email hello@lettejewellpsychotherapy.com.au.
