About Us: Lette

Registered Psychotherapist, Hypnotherapist, Somatic Transformation and Polyvagal Qualified Therapist ® National Support .

Kia ora, I’m Lette — a registered psychotherapist, counsellor, and hypnotherapist.

I support people who are navigating difficult times, life transitions, and the search for meaning and connection. My approach is grounded in Māori (Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Maniapoto) values, Indigenous knowledge, and over 30 years of experience in psychotherapy, counselling, and somatic practices.

As Takatāpui (Two-Spirited, LGBTIQA+), I create inclusive and affirming spaces where every part of your story is seen and respected. I draw on lived experience, professional training, and cultural wisdom to walk alongside you through pain, uncertainty, growth, and change.

My Approach

Collaborative and gentle — I work alongside you, not as an expert who fixes, but as a partner who listens deeply.

  • Safe and affirming — your identity, culture, and lived experience are central to our work together.

  • Body–mind connection — we explore how experiences live in the body, opening pathways for resilience, clarity, and balance.

My Personal Journey

As a late-diagnosed neurodiverse psychotherapist, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work. This gives me unique insight into supporting neurodiverse people with understanding and relatability, while also working effectively with neurotypical clients through empathy, awareness, and decades of personal growth.

For more than 30 years, I have explored pathways of wellbeing that extend beyond Western medical models. My journey has included Indigenous practices, women’s spirituality retreats, sweat lodges, psychedelic integration, meditation, yoga, qi gong, and somatic therapies.

Before opening my psychotherapy practice nearly 10 years ago, I had continuously worked in Leadership development in human resources and community settings. Since then, I have trained in psychotherapy, counselling, somatic transformation, hypnotherapy, art therapy, and trauma-informed approaches — while continuing to learn from Indigenous elders and knowledge keepers.

This blend of lived experience, professional training, and cultural wisdom shapes the way I sit with people: with respect, openness, and an understanding that each person’s story is unique.

Chantal - She/Her.

I’m a proud Aboriginal Dharug & Kamilaroi Woman.

She is the person for everyone within the practice; she is both a supportive business owner and a proud Aboriginal descendant - her grandmother came from a generation of being hidden from inspectors of homes during the White Australian policy, with her grandmother and her sisters being hidden under the floorboards during those times to fight to keep the family together.

That’s why there are intergenerational impacts of colonisation, including cultural loss, identity disconnection, and the lifelong journey of reclamation.

As the practice manager and wife of Lette for over 22 years, and mum to two fur babies, they have been in a relationship during times when they were spat on in the streets for attending rallies and community events, heading out to clubs, supporting friends, or holding hands. Throughout their generations, they were constantly hiding parts of themselves to stay safe, and this need persists today. That is why she stands up for the rights of all people and her community.
