Discover the benefits of Somatic Psychotherapy.

Your body remembers what your mind may forget.

Somatic psychotherapy offers a unique approach, distinct from talk therapy. It doesn't just involve discussing your thoughts, feelings, and emotions, but also explores where they might be stuck within your body. One of the fascinating things about your body is that it continually reminds you of all the ways you can reconnect with yourself…

We offer accessible and personalised counselling and psychotherapy services, available in-person in Melbourne or online nationally from the comfort of your own home.

Hi, I’m Lette (pronounced Let) Jewell (she/they).

We all want to feel at ease within ourselves—grounded, connected, and supported as we move through life. Yet, early experiences, major transitions, overwhelming emotions, or long-standing patterns can sometimes leave us feeling stuck, anxious, or unbalanced. My practice provides a safe and affirming space for exploration, healing, and growth.

I work with people on a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Gentle support for sensory overwhelm and developing sensory awareness

  • Depression, anxiety, and stress management

  • Trauma recovery, including PTSD and complex PTSD

  • Understanding and healing intergenerational trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Navigating relationships, kinship, chosen family, and family systems

  • Support for non-monogamous, open, and polyamorous relationships

  • Exploring sexuality and gender identity, including sharing this with loved ones

  • Phobias and fears

  • Guidance around risky behaviours

  • Building self-esteem, confidence, and motivation

  • Practising radical acceptance and self-compassion

  • A wide range of psychosocial challenges

As kin to First Nations peoples, I offer a culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive practice. I am deeply committed to supporting Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Indigenous communities, while holding space for people of all backgrounds, cultures, and lived experiences.

Whether you’re seeking gentle encouragement, tools for resilience, or a space to make sense of your story, I walk alongside you with compassion and care.

We all carry unspoken stories that still seek to be heard and witnessed.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we gather on, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who have made significant contributions to this community. This always was and always will be Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander land, and sovereignty has never been ceded. Our practice recognises the experience and contribution of people from all cultures, genders, sexualities, bodies, abilities, spiritualities, ages, and backgrounds.
